After 2 minutes, Blade Freeman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Henrietta and the MXW UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blade Freeman hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Rudolph Oconnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Palmington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Samuels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrietta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Oliver Samuels scored to the left of an out of position Bath Tarrant, making the score, 1-0. After 31 minutes, Myles Kiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MXW UNITED and the Henrietta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Myles Kiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarrod Trenoweth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in MXW UNITED's zone, Jarrod Trenoweth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Palmington came out of the goal and Jarrod Trenoweth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Samuels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bath Tarrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Bath Tarrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edison Waters, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudolph Oconnell made a kick off. Oliver Samuels struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Bath Tarrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MXW UNITED. After having played for 56 minutes, Rudolph Oconnell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henrietta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolph Oconnell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 played minutes MXW UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Edward Kennedy. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by MXW UNITED's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lance Playford was slow to take the kick. During this time Henrietta's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Henrietta's corner Lance Playford fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andres Palmington quite easily take care of the ball. Edison Waters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bath Tarrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edison Waters in the 68th minute of play forced Henrietta's goalkeeper Bath Tarrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Palmington made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarrod Trenoweth in the 72nd minute. When Jarrod Trenoweth fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henrietta's protests and gave Jarrod Trenoweth a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Henrietta's Jarrod Trenoweth got a free kick in the 79th minute. MXW UNITED's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rudolph Oconnell 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. In the 90th match minute, Henrietta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blade Freeman to maneuver through the defense. Oliver Samuels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MXW UNITED had won after a very even match.
