Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Notting's Alvin Scalzo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oliver Samuels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Samuel Tout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Palmington made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Bromfield in the 4th minute. MXW UNITED's Andres Palmington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save MXW UNITED from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Notting's Brockman Gaffigan got a free kick in the 7th minute. Edison Waters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Bromfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Palmington. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Bromfield ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvin Scalzo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Andres Palmington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Notting. After a defensive mix-up in MXW UNITED's zone, Alvin Scalzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Palmington came out of the goal and Alvin Scalzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the MXW UNITED defense, Dan Bromfield kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Palmington. The MXW UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Palmington should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Oliver Samuels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Tout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Palmington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Scalzo in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Edison Waters notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Notting's Samuel Tout. Samuel Tout was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 played minutes MXW UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Belton Clist. In the 42nd minute, Dan Bromfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Notting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dan Bromfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edison Waters was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Alvin Scalzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MXW UNITED's Andres Palmington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oliver Samuels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Palmington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Bromfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, Belton Clist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MXW UNITED and the Notting players grew even worse after the yellow card. Belton Clist hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Andres Palmington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Bromfield in the 61st minute of play. Andres Palmington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Bromfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Notting fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Notting's Alvin Scalzo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Dan Bromfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Tout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edison Waters in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of MXW UNITED booed when Notting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordon Solomon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edison Waters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Notting were furious when Christian Greenbank was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 79th minute, one of Notting:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Notting. Notting:s Samuel Tout showed great skill when he stopped Edward Kennedy:s penalty. In the 82nd minute, Edward Kennedy made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Tout. Notting's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. If Oliver Samuels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edison Waters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Tout having to interfere.
