The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bishop Tevelien was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Inter Wodonga were awarded a corner. Bleyd Hamilton went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Bleyd Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stew Whitsitt came out of the goal and Bleyd Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Andre Tarrant was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Inter Wodonga's Rick Holdsworth was substituted for Connor Vaughan. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Andre Tarrant hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Alex Kinsey notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Liverpool FC's Stew Whitsitt. Stew Whitsitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Kinsey came free, but Stew Whitsitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Inter Wodonga's Alex Kinsey in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bishop Tevelien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Danny Devere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Byrne Wirth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Wodonga the free kick. In the 90th minute of the match Bleyd Hamilton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stew Whitsitt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bishop Tevelien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Inter Wodonga players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
