Pymble Leopards FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Oberne's Hale Fitton got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pymble Leopards FC's Randolph Deeth got a free kick in the 13th minute. Rolando Riley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alford Cudmore having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Pymble Leopards FC's zone, Mitchell Eversden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alford Cudmore came out of the goal and Mitchell Eversden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Pymble Leopards FC got a freekick which was hit by Payton Mudie. Pymble Leopards FC's Alford Cudmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Eversden in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Pymble Leopards FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Irving Kanack hit a great ball. Alford Cudmore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Riley went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mitchell Eversden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alford Cudmore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mitchell Eversden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alford Cudmore was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Mitchell Eversden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jagger Hunn might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alford Cudmore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jagger Hunn ran back to his position shaking his head. Mitchell Eversden struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alford Cudmore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oberne.

If Rolando Riley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hale Fitton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Norman Cudmore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norman Cudmore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oberne were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Pymble Leopards FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hale Fitton took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Hale Fitton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alford Cudmore quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Oberne's Jarvis Oreilly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Payton Mudie in the 69th minute of play. Jarvis Oreilly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden Soekirno, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Rolando Riley could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Alford Cudmore however easily saved by the left post. When Dugald Rhodes fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pymble Leopards FC's protests and gave Dugald Rhodes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Pymble Leopards FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dugald Rhodes to maneuver through the defense. Oberne's Hale Fitton got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Payton Mudie took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarvis Oreilly. Jarvis Oreilly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Norman Cudmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mitchell Eversden in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alford Cudmore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oberne's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
