In the 10th minute Oliver Samuels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stew Whitsitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dugald Szobczak's late challenge caught a Liverpool FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MXW UNITED's Dugald Szobczak got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's Byrne Wirth broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Andre Tarrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Palmington having to interfere. Andres Palmington came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool FC's Bishop Tevelien. But to his dismay, Bishop Tevelien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Andres Palmington made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Bishop Tevelien sent off a good shot on target. Edison Waters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stew Whitsitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edison Waters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 33 in the game by Bishop Tevelien from a close distance when the talented Andres Palmington managed to make a qualified save. MXW UNITED's players were relieved. Andre Tarrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Palmington having to interfere. Andre Tarrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oliver Samuels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bickford Reichelt to maneuver through the defense. Belton Clist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stew Whitsitt having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bishop Tevelien to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Samuels got free with Stew Whitsitt in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bishop Tevelien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Palmington read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Stew Whitsitt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Samuels in the 74th minute. In the 80th match minute, MXW UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benson Virgin to maneuver through the defense. Bishop Tevelien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Palmington having to interfere. Andre Tarrant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Palmington read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Bishop Tevelien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bishop Tevelien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Palmington having to interfere. Bishop Tevelien scored 2-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Palmington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edison Waters hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Liverpool FC had played much better football throughout.
