But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyce Ambrose couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Gunyah's Boyce Ambrose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darley Hunter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Ambrose in the 96th minute of play forced 69ers's goalkeeper Darley Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boyce Ambrose scored 1-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darley Hunter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The 69ers players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Gunyah from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
