An unexpectedly hard shot by Porter Allcock in the 46th minute of play forced Moyreisk's goalkeeper Crawford Fordham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moyreisk's goalkeeper Crawford Fordham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porter Allcock couldn't finish the play. Bruno Durbridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rudolph Mealmaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ben Pearse during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 90 minutes into the game, one of Pun FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 96thth minute of the game Bruno Durbridge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pun FC's Rudolph Mealmaker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Crawford Fordham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porter Allcock in the 99th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
