Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Quincy Chapman took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Bartholemew Goodward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Schoenke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Welford booed when Eden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quincy Chapman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quincy Chapman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Eden's Dugald Muncaster got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Bartholemew Goodward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Earl Will in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aron Hopkins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adam Schoenke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartholemew Goodward, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartholemew Goodward to strike the kick off in the second half. Matt Franklin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Matt Franklin came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Welford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matt Franklin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Welford booed when Eden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dugald Muncaster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dugald Muncaster took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aron Hopkins. Welford's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bartholemew Goodward received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. In the 97th match minute, Eden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quincy Chapman to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eden had won after a very even match.
