In the 22nd minute, one of Arsenal Academy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arsenal Academy. After 34 minutes, Tom Mills mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bamarong and the Arsenal Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bamarong getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tom Mills hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Bamarong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meyer Schonke to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Heathwood charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kyle Heathwood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kyle Heathwood kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Hal Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randall Freel having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Arsenal Academy's Nichol Notley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lewis Alcock narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nichol Notley to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Hal Lord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randall Freel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Brown Best was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bamarong the free kick. 56 minutes into the game, one of Arsenal Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arsenal Academy's Randall Freel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meyer Schonke in the 71st minute of play. Meyer Schonke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randall Freel having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Bamarong got a freekick which was hit by Neville Cooney. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Meyer Schonke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bamarong's supporters rose to their feet, but Meyer Schonke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Randall Freel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Randall Freel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meyer Schonke in the 91st minute of play. Hal Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Hal Lord got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 99thth minute of the game Meyer Schonke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal Academy's Randall Freel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bamarong's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
