Spectators: 8490 (Terracing: 6368, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jagger Goldsmith started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Red Cliffs Devils's George Peterson got a free kick in the 5th minute. Michael Jeffress made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porter Simpson in the 7th minute of play. When Jagger Goldsmith came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Red Cliffs Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jagger Goldsmith couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Porter Simpson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 played minutes Red Cliffs Devils got a freekick which was hit by Paul Norman. After a rather tough play, Red Cliffs Devils's Samuel King got a free kick in the 20th minute. Porter Simpson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Peter Giles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26thth minute of the game Porter Simpson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Cliffs Devils's Michael Jeffress was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jones Addison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Jeffress having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Crimson Eagles FC's goalkeeper Lawrance Shorten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Crimson Eagles FC's Porter Simpson in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Cliffs Devils's goalie prevented a goal. Crimson Eagles FC's Kevin Conlin got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Porter Simpson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match Paul Norman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lawrance Shorten showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Raleigh Mclatchey kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Kevin Conlin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Rod Facey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crimson Eagles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rod Facey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes in the game, Porter Simpson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Kevin Conlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Norman kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Porter Simpson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Jeffress showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Douglas White charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas White the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Douglas White hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Jagger Goldsmith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Jeffress took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porter Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Red Cliffs Devils's zone, Kevin Conlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Jeffress came out of the goal and Kevin Conlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Crimson Eagles FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Red Cliffs Devils to leave the ground with a draw.
