Spectators: 28 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 28) Dane Cowdell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Porter Simpson sped through Hedges's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nilson Pegrum. After a rather tough play, Crimson Eagles FC's Raleigh Mclatchey got a free kick in the 7th minute. Dane Cowdell kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Crimson Eagles FC's Jones Addison couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hedges. Porter Simpson scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilson Pegrum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kevin Conlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Porter Simpson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nilson Pegrum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 played minutes Crimson Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Lawrance Odd. With his leg Lawrance Shorten managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Hedges's Bjorn Morse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Bjorn Morse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porter Simpson took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Pegrum. Nilson Pegrum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Porter Simpson in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Pegrum saved Hedges from getting behind. Jones Addison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Porter Simpson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hedges's Nilson Pegrum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Dane Cowdell came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Hedges fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dane Cowdell couldn't finish the play. Lawrance Shorten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjorn Morse in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Porter Simpson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Porter Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nilson Pegrum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Porter Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hedges's goalkeeper Nilson Pegrum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute of the match, Porter Simpson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nilson Pegrum saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lawrance Shorten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjorn Morse, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Bjorn Morse kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Kevin Conlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Porter Simpson in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson Pegrum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dane Cowdell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Porter Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jones Addison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Porter Simpson in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson Pegrum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Porter Simpson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Nilson Pegrum made a huge save. Kevin Conlin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Kevin Conlin kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Bjorn Morse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bjorn Morse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lawrance Shorten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crimson Eagles FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
