With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Jeffress prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mevlüt Rüstem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Michael Jeffress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humphry Baptiste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Burakin's Darley Simpson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 32nd match minute, Burakin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darley Simpson to maneuver through the defense. When Jagger Goldsmith came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Red Cliffs Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jagger Goldsmith couldn't finish the play. Mevlüt Rüstem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute of the match Rudolph Hines sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Jeffress skillfully saved the ball. After 39 played minutes, Burakin's Biggs Devine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michael Jeffress came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burakin reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Burt Bleazard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 45th minute Jagger Goldsmith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burt Bleazard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Peterson charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Peterson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mevlüt Rüstem got free with Michael Jeffress in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Red Cliffs Devils getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. George Peterson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Burakin's zone, Jagger Goldsmith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burt Bleazard came out of the goal and Jagger Goldsmith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Burakin's goal looked a bit too open when Jagger Goldsmith came free, but Burt Bleazard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burakin's goalkeeper Burt Bleazard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burt Bleazard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bock Clack's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Burt Bleazard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bock Clack, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Red Cliffs Devils's Bock Clack got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michael Jeffress stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mevlüt Rüstem's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When George Peterson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. George Peterson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Burakin's Jayden Mcneven pulled a muscle in his leg after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 77 minutes into the game, Dane King was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Cliffs Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burakin the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Burakin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murphey Beins to maneuver through the defense. Murphey Beins hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bock Clack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Cliffs Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Bock Clack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burt Bleazard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes Red Cliffs Devils got a freekick which was hit by Peter Giles. If Mevlüt Rüstem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
