With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson Pegrum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the game, Porter Letsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hedges's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burakin the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hedges's Porter Letsch got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes, Biggs Devine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burakin and the Hedges players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Burakin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biggs Devine to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mevlüt Rüstem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burakin's supporters rose to their feet, but Mevlüt Rüstem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Pegrum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mevlüt Rüstem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nilson Pegrum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humphry Baptiste's late challenge caught a Hedges's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Pegrum showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cornelius Curtis's late challenge caught a Burakin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelius Curtis helped the player get up and apologised. Cornelius Curtis hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dane Cowdell to strike the kick off in the second half. Mevlüt Rüstem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nilson Pegrum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dugald Tongs hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Hedges's goalkeeper Nilson Pegrum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mevlüt Rüstem. After 60 minutes, Mevlüt Rüstem made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hedges's Nilson Pegrum tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mevlüt Rüstem might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson Pegrum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mevlüt Rüstem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Nilson Pegrum when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Burakin's Rudolph Hines dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Mevlüt Rüstem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Hedges's Nilson Pegrum got control of the ball when Mevlüt Rüstem tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Nilson Pegrum managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Burakin's Mevlüt Rüstem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mevlüt Rüstem in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Pegrum saved Hedges from getting behind. Nilson Pegrum made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mevlüt Rüstem sent off a good shot on target. Mevlüt Rüstem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Nilson Pegrum when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Burakin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
