Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Bern Beverley in the 5th minute of play forced Shadforth's goalkeeper Reginald Mills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darell Pincini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bert Diehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 22 in the game by Nicholas Beale from a close distance when the talented Bert Diehl managed to make a qualified save. Witchcliffe FC's players were relieved. 25 minutes into the match, Bern Beverley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reginald Mills. Shadforth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bern Beverley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Casper Carlisle scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reginald Mills, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bert Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darell Pincini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Bern Beverley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Witchcliffe FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bern Beverley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Casper Carlisle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginald Mills having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Bern Beverley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reginald Mills. Bern Beverley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 57th minute, Dallas Turner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Witchcliffe FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Casper Carlisle hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Witchcliffe FC's zone, Darell Pincini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bert Diehl came out of the goal and Darell Pincini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bert Diehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Beale in the 62nd minute of play. Witchcliffe FC's Bert Diehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darell Pincini in the 65th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Darell Pincini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Witchcliffe FC's Bert Diehl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 73 minutes of play, Witchcliffe FC's Bern Beverley made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reginald Mills was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reginald Mills was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bern Beverley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 87 minute of play. The Shadforth fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Witchcliffe FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
