Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bradshaw Lander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Arthur Kean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Loud Awage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradshaw Lander hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Payton Hamilton in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loud Awage saved Tawonga from getting behind. Loud Awage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Payton Hamilton in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Maitland booed when Tawonga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damon Harkness didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loud Awage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Payton Hamilton in the 17th minute of the match. Loud Awage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humphrey Wilde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humphrey Wilde in the 24th minute of play forced Tawonga's goalkeeper Loud Awage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Payton Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loud Awage having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Payton Hamilton in the 27th minute of play forced Tawonga's goalkeeper Loud Awage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Tawonga's goal looked a bit too open when Payton Hamilton came free, but Loud Awage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Maitland's goal looked a bit too open when Bradshaw Lander came free, but Britton Oconnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Art Copelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britton Oconnell having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humphrey Wilde in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loud Awage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Bradshaw Lander took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Britton Oconnell to make any attempt to save it. In the 46th match minute, Maitland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rex Mcinnes to maneuver through the defense.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Abbott Sylvester in the 54th minute of play forced Maitland's goalkeeper Britton Oconnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaffery Angell during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Ralph Mccartan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, Tawonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradshaw Lander to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Maitland failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
