Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The Melbourne 007 fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Melbourne 007's Dante King looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rudy Gummow took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loud Awage. Loud Awage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 11 minutes into the game, Dante King cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Loud Awage was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante King hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Loud Awage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante King, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Loud Awage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante King in the 21st minute of the match. Rudy Gummow took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loud Awage. Loud Awage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 25 minutes into the game, Melbourne 007's Rudy Gummow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loud Awage made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Broderick Ceney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradshaw Lander in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Dante King ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loud Awage was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 34th minute, Rudy Gummow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loud Awage was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brye Awage in the 37th minute of play forced Tawonga's goalkeeper Loud Awage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Bradshaw Lander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Broderick Ceney. The goal made the score 1-8. When Rudy Gummow came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Melbourne 007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Gummow couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudy Gummow in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loud Awage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudy Gummow made a kick off. Tawonga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Dante King scored to the left of an out of position Loud Awage, making the score, 1-9. After 56 played minutes Tawonga got a freekick which was hit by Jaffery Angell. If Brye Awage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brye Awage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Loud Awage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melbourne 007's Rudy Gummow was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Tawonga's goalkeeper Loud Awage had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante King. 76 minutes into the game, Rudy Gummow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Loud Awage. Rudy Gummow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-13. Dante King in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Loud Awage, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 81 minutes into the match, Tawonga's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Gummow came free, but Loud Awage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante King's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Loud Awage firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 85th minute, Dante King left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melbourne 007 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-14. Loud Awage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudy Gummow's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Loud Awage was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rudy Gummow showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-15 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Melbourne 007 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tawonga.
