Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ellis Hoskin made the kick off which started today's match. Ellis Hoskin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Britton Oconnell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Springsure FC. After some careless play in the Maitland defense, Boyde Renny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Britton Oconnell. The Maitland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Britton Oconnell should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Maitland booed when Springsure FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Waterland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Britton Oconnell made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Conner Perrett sent off a good shot on target. Maitland's Britton Oconnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyde Renny in the 17th minute of play. Maitland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Ellis Hoskin scored to the left of an out of position Britton Oconnell, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Maitland getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Birrell Duncan hit a great ball. Britton Oconnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ellis Hoskin in the 26th minute of the match. Conner Perrett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Britton Oconnell made a huge save. Iggi Wenham hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Nick Mcgregor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humphrey Wilde in the 34th minute of play. When Maitland's Payton Hamilton in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Springsure FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nick Mcgregor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Payton Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nick Mcgregor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Payton Hamilton in the 40th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Boyde Renny took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Britton Oconnell to make any attempt to save it. Humphrey Wilde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Payton Hamilton in the 48th minute of play forced Springsure FC's goalkeeper Nick Mcgregor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Payton Hamilton was the one to do the kick off. If Humphrey Wilde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54thth minute of the game Humphrey Wilde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springsure FC's Nick Mcgregor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Humphrey Wilde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nick Mcgregor. Humphrey Wilde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Springsure FC's Bevis Stafford got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dalton Norman struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Nick Mcgregor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maitland. 62 minutes into the match, Springsure FC's goalkeeper Nick Mcgregor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Payton Hamilton. Nick Mcgregor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humphrey Wilde in the 63rd minute of the match. Springsure FC's Conner Perrett got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Maitland's goal looked a bit too open when Bevis Stafford came free, but Britton Oconnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Maitland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birrell Duncan to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Ellis Hoskin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Britton Oconnell skillfully saved the ball. Maitland's Britton Oconnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyde Renny in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Maitland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Mealmaker to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boyde Renny in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Britton Oconnell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyde Renny in the 74th minute of play forced Maitland's goalkeeper Britton Oconnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Britton Oconnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellis Hoskin in the 77th minute of play. Nick Mcgregor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Payton Hamilton in the 78th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Nick Mcgregor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Britton Oconnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ellis Hoskin in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Springsure FC's Ellis Hoskin made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Britton Oconnell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nick Mcgregor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Kean in the 95th minute. With a little luck, Springsure FC's Nick Mcgregor got control of the ball when Payton Hamilton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boyde Renny charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyde Renny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
