Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rudy Gummow made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Mingoola's Bran Bennett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Broderick Ceney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudy Gummow in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Luckham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abbott Sugden hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Dante King had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Luckham didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rudy Gummow went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Brye Awage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Rudy Gummow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Luckham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudy Gummow in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Luckham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Rudy Gummow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melbourne 007 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Eddie Rowdon's late challenge caught a Mingoola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eddie Rowdon helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Melbourne 007 got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Rowdon.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamese Mewburn to make the kick off. Philip Luckham was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Brye Awage capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brye Awage really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Rudy Gummow sped through Mingoola's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philip Luckham. In the 59th match minute, Melbourne 007 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Rowdon to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the game, Rudy Gummow lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Philip Luckham. The crowd rose to their feet as Rudy Gummow kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Philip Luckham. That made the score 0-9 in the 67 minute of play. Dante King blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Philip Luckham having to make a save. Philip Luckham stood somewhat misplaced when Brye Awage came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 73 minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Craig Turnor put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mingoola fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Melbourne 007 a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodney Devere, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mingoola's Philip Luckham. 0-11. Philip Luckham didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Melbourne 007's Rudy Gummow shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-12 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ike Mcgrath during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Mingoola got a freekick which was hit by Ike Mcgrath. In the 85th of the match, Rudy Gummow tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Philip Luckham got in the way and made a wonderful save. Philip Luckham was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rudy Gummow showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 87 minute of play. Edwardo Stafford hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Carter Berresford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Luckham acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 97th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abraham Convine. In the 100th minute, Melbourne 007's Rudy Gummow ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Philip Luckham. Philip Luckham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15.
