Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Connolly in the 6th minute of play forced Mingoola's goalkeeper Philip Luckham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nathan Prior hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jacob Connolly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Luckham having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Bran Bennett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Legg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Philip Luckham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Connolly in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Ridgley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fleming Ross to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jamese Mewburn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mingoola's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamese Mewburn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Legg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Jacob Connolly recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Philip Luckham. Jacob Connolly showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Jacob Connolly lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Philip Luckham. 41 minutes into the match, Ridgley's goal looked a bit too open when Bran Bennett came free, but Martin Legg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
A collision led to Ridgley getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Nathan Prior hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Bran Bennett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Legg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 55th minute, Jacob Connolly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Luckham was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After 58 played minutes Ridgley got a freekick which was hit by Danny Barry. If Bran Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Barry kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Earnest Algoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Luckham having to interfere. Bran Bennett in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Legg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mingoola's Carter Berresford shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Martin Legg but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice moves Bran Bennett could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Martin Legg however easily saved by the left post. Earnest Algoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Earnest Algoud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ridgley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Earnest Algoud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Earnest Algoud scored 4-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip Luckham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Bran Bennett got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Earnest Algoud in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Luckham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ridgley fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mingoola had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
