Tresco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brisbane FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tresco's Cezary Rutkowski got a free kick in the 13th minute. Max Freeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burns Bennett in the 14th minute of play. When Edison Deeth came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Tresco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edison Deeth couldn't finish the play. Michael Johnson got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ren Busst. In the 21st minute, Edison Deeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Edison Deeth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Britton Day was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Davey Pack hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Wojciech Czeszejko took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Britton Day. Britton Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the game, Bryson Willding cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Britton Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Max Freeman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Biddle Sparks went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Burns Bennett to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Wojciech Czeszejko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Britton Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edison Deeth came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Britton Day could save by the left post. Edison Deeth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Britton Day made a huge save. Britton Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Czeszejko in the 88th minute of the match. Wojciech Czeszejko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Britton Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Wojciech Czeszejko rounded Brisbane FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. When the match was over Tresco could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brisbane FC throughout the match.
