Carter Berresford charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carter Berresford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mingoola's Carter Berresford got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Bryson Willding sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philip Luckham skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Mingoola getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ike Mcgrath hit a great ball. Edison Deeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Luckham having to interfere. Philip Luckham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edison Deeth's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute Wojciech Czeszejko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Luckham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bran Bennett's late challenge caught a Tresco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bran Bennett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Mingoola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bran Bennett to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Tresco's Max Freeman got control of the ball when Bran Bennett tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cezary Rutkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Wojciech Czeszejko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamese Mewburn to make the kick off. Mingoola's Philip Luckham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Mingoola from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Mingoola's Craig Turnor got a free kick in the 56th minute. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Edison Deeth sped through Mingoola's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philip Luckham. Edison Deeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Philip Luckham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Luckham made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Edison Deeth sent off a good shot on target. 1-4 became the score in the 81st minute when Wojciech Czeszejko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bran Bennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bran Bennett hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the match was over Tresco could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mingoola throughout the match.
