Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tawonga's Bradshaw Lander started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Bradshaw Lander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tawonga's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradshaw Lander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irwin Stevens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tawonga's Abbott Sylvester got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Irwin Stevens had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Abbott Sylvester from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a little luck, Inamotos's Irwin Stevens got control of the ball when Art Copelin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Abbott Sylvester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tawonga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abbott Sylvester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Inamotos's Irwin Stevens got control of the ball when Ralph Mccartan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loud Awage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murphy Greenan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Art Copelin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tawonga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art Copelin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralph Mccartan might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irwin Stevens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralph Mccartan ran back to his position shaking his head. Irwin Stevens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Art Copelin went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alexander Notley charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Notley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tawonga getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alexander Notley hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murphy Greenan to make the kick off. Loud Awage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murphy Greenan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Abbott Sylvester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irwin Stevens having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Bradshaw Lander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irwin Stevens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 62nd minute, Bradshaw Lander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loud Awage didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Irwin Stevens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abbott Sylvester went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Art Copelin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irwin Stevens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Abbott Sylvester cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Irwin Stevens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Bradshaw Lander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tawonga's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradshaw Lander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brookes Sibbold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irwin Stevens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbott Sylvester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84thth minute of the game Bradshaw Lander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inamotos's Irwin Stevens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abbott Sylvester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irwin Stevens having to interfere. Jaffery Angell hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Murphy Greenan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inamotos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tawonga.
