Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cod Duncan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, Malbina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlisle Brien to maneuver through the defense. Ronald Parryman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddy Ceney went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddy Ceney in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronald Parryman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Eddy Ceney had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronald Parryman. Malbina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddy Ceney was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Crawford Mcwilliam recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Murdock Crane. Crawford Mcwilliam showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, Malbina's goal looked a bit too open when Brooker Teuma came free, but Ronald Parryman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Russel Mcneven kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Brooker Teuma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southgate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The supporters of Malbina booed when Southgate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Mccartan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crawford Mcwilliam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Murdock Crane made a huge save. Ronald Parryman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Ceney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brooker Teuma during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Brooker Teuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brooker Teuma made a kick off. Murdock Crane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cod Duncan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cod Duncan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Murdock Crane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malbina. Murdock Crane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cod Duncan in the 60th minute of play. Cod Duncan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murdock Crane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crawford Mcwilliam in the 66th minute of the match. Malbina's Ronald Parryman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernie Aroege in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Malbina's Carlisle Brien seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carlisle Brien the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Malbina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlisle Brien had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 68th minute, one of Malbina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Malbina. Ronald Parryman made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bernie Aroege sent off a good shot on target. Eddy Ceney in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronald Parryman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ronald Parryman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernie Aroege in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Eddy Ceney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronald Parryman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Brooker Teuma sped through Malbina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronald Parryman. If Eddy Ceney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Brooker Teuma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southgate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brooker Teuma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Southgate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
