Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bryan Brotherton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jessop Phasey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Rann in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Waaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Smoothey to maneuver through the defense. When Norman Algoud came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Stockleigsh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norman Algoud couldn't finish the play. Alford Rann struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Jessop Phasey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waaia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Connor Tevelien during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Stockleigsh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor Tevelien to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Connor Tevelien had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Earle Rhoades. Waaia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Connor Tevelien was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Howard Smoothey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Waaia's goal looked a bit too open when Connor Tevelien came free, but Earle Rhoades reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dugald Flisfeder hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Norman Algoud charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norman Algoud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stockleigsh getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Norman Algoud hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alford Rann in the 37th minute of play forced Stockleigsh's goalkeeper Jessop Phasey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Dugald Flisfeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Connor Tevelien to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Bryan Brotherton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jessop Phasey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Dakota Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Connor Tevelien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Earle Rhoades tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jessop Phasey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Brotherton in the 76th minute of play. When Norman Algoud came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Stockleigsh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norman Algoud couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Stockleigsh booed when Waaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jemmett Millar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Norman Algoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dugald Flisfeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Brotherton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jessop Phasey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Stockleigsh's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Bunworth came free, but Jessop Phasey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Brotherton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
