Randell Warhurst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Ceney in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Brooker Teuma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Randell Warhurst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th match minute, Hernani Sydney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darley Mcquoid to maneuver through the defense. Bernie Aroege took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Randell Warhurst. Hernani Sydney's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25th minute, Brooker Teuma made a precise shot to the right of Randell Warhurst. Hernani Sydney's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Hernani Sydney's Todd Crampton got a free kick in the 29th minute. Randell Warhurst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Ceney in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Eddy Ceney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Randell Warhurst was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 38 minutes of play, Southgate's Eddy Ceney made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Randell Warhurst was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Bernie Aroege made a precise shot to the right of Randell Warhurst. Hernani Sydney's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Randell Warhurst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Aroege, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Bernie Aroege left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southgate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Darley Mcquoid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hernani Sydney's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southgate the free kick. Darley Mcquoid kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Brooker Teuma notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Hernani Sydney's Randell Warhurst. Randell Warhurst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, Bernie Aroege dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Randell Warhurst, 0-9. 61 minutes into the match, Hernani Sydney's goalkeeper Randell Warhurst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernie Aroege. Randell Warhurst was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernie Aroege showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 64 minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Bernie Aroege got a very nice opportunity to score, but Randell Warhurst was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddy Ceney got free with Randell Warhurst in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the game, Southgate's Bernie Aroege nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Randell Warhurst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Hernani Sydney's Randell Warhurst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Hernani Sydney from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Brooker Teuma put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Randell Warhurst. After 80 minutes of play, Southgate's Bernie Aroege made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Randell Warhurst was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th play minute Bernie Aroege came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Randell Warhurst. 0-14. Hernani Sydney's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Bernie Aroege scored to the left of an out of position Randell Warhurst, making the score, 0-15. Randell Warhurst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Aroege, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Southgate's Brooker Teuma dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-16. The Hernani Sydney fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Southgate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
