Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Crawford Mcwilliam came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Malbina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crawford Mcwilliam couldn't finish the play. Crawford Mcwilliam came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tom Seistrup could save by the left post. Tom Seistrup made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dacosta Bodimeade in the 13th minute. Adelaide United FC's attentive Barry Laws managed to snatch the ball when Crawford Mcwilliam made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, Cod Duncan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tom Seistrup. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Malbina booed when Adelaide United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Oneill didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Adelaide United FC's Tom Seistrup got control of the ball when Crawford Mcwilliam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronald Parryman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lowrey Bundy went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Adelaide United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Russel Mcneven scored to the left of an out of position Tom Seistrup, making the score, 2-1. In the 31st minute, Barry Laws ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronald Parryman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 43 minutes into the game, Bevis Kennewell threw the ball into play from the sideline. Adelaide United FC's Brandes Sinden quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Brandes Sinden might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronald Parryman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brandes Sinden ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Cod Duncan scored 3-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Seistrup, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronald Parryman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lowrey Bundy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Malbina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russel Mcneven to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes of play, Malbina's Dacosta Bodimeade made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Seistrup was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, Lowrey Bundy notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Malbina's Ronald Parryman. Ronald Parryman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barry Laws's late challenge caught a Malbina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barry Laws helped the player get up and apologised. Brynn Warren hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Adelaide United FC's zone, Cod Duncan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Seistrup came out of the goal and Cod Duncan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Malbina! The referee gave Adelaide United FC a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Darin Ogle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Malbina's Ronald Parryman. 4-4. After 86 played minutes Adelaide United FC got a freekick which was hit by Brandes Sinden. Tom Seistrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crawford Mcwilliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Seistrup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crawford Mcwilliam in the 92nd minute of the match.
