Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) If Bryan Brotherton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cockatoo's Berkeley Trevena got control of the ball when Jemmett Millar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Berkeley Trevena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Rann in the 5th minute of play. Berkeley Trevena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryan Brotherton in the 6th minute. Berkeley Trevena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jemmett Millar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. After 10 played minutes Cockatoo got a freekick which was hit by Jesse Voller. Earle Rhoades came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Cockatoo's Jesse Voller. But to his dismay, Jesse Voller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Neil Bunworth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Berkeley Trevena, 2-1. Ned Kepert's late challenge caught a Waaia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ned Kepert helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cockatoo! The referee gave Waaia a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alford Rann, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cockatoo's Berkeley Trevena. 3-1. In the 26th minute Dalwood Tebby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkeley Trevena made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Neil Bunworth sent off a good shot on target. Cockatoo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Neil Bunworth scored to the left of an out of position Berkeley Trevena, making the score, 4-1. 31 minutes into the match, Cockatoo's goalkeeper Berkeley Trevena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryan Brotherton. The supporters of Waaia booed when Cockatoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryant Batterham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buchanan Fessa charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Buchanan Fessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Waaia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Buchanan Fessa hit a great ball. Jesse Voller took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Earle Rhoades. Waaia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bryan Brotherton in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Berkeley Trevena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bryant Batterham hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Bryan Brotherton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Brotherton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berkeley Trevena made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Neil Bunworth sent off a good shot on target. Earle Rhoades showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiger Powderham, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Howard Smoothey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waaia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cockatoo the free kick. 46 minutes into the match, Waaia's goal looked a bit too open when Tiger Powderham came free, but Earle Rhoades reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Kreck to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cockatoo's Bryant Batterham got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Neil Bunworth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Cockatoo's goal looked a bit too open when Alford Rann came free, but Berkeley Trevena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Jemmett Millar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Kreck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Earle Rhoades made a huge save. A collision led to Waaia getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jemmett Millar hit a great ball. Jesse Voller took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Earle Rhoades. Waaia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cockatoo were furious when Ned Kepert was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cockatoo! The referee gave Waaia a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alford Rann, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cockatoo's Berkeley Trevena. 5-2. Alford Rann took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berkeley Trevena. Berkeley Trevena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. After 77 played minutes Cockatoo got a freekick which was hit by Bryant Batterham. 79 minutes into the game, Waaia's Alford Rann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berkeley Trevena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. 84 minutes into the match, Jemmett Millar notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Cockatoo's Berkeley Trevena. Berkeley Trevena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Waaia's Bryan Brotherton in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cockatoo's goalie prevented a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Jemmett Millar notched a goal, 9-2, to the right of Cockatoo's Berkeley Trevena. Berkeley Trevena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Alford Rann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Waaia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-2. Berkeley Trevena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Rann in the 99th minute of play. Berkeley Trevena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Bunworth in the 100th minute of the match. Waaia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
