Benney Bowen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earle Rhoades having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Waaia's Buchanan Fessa got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Ernest Tearle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Earle Rhoades, 1-0. If Bray Day had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Ernest Tearle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Earle Rhoades, 2-0. 21 minutes into the game, Gregory Atkin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Earle Rhoades. Gregory Atkin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. A hard shot 24 in the game by Bray Day from a close distance when the talented Earle Rhoades managed to make a qualified save. Waaia's players were relieved. Earle Rhoades showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bray Day, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Waaia's Jacobs Auger got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes, Ernest Tearle made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Waaia's Earle Rhoades tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bray Day received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Earle Rhoades tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Tearle in the 40th minute of play forced Waaia's goalkeeper Earle Rhoades to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jacobs Auger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Bryan Brotherton made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Waaia's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Tearle came free, but Earle Rhoades reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ernest Tearle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swan Valley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Tearle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Earle Rhoades breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Ernest Tearle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Earle Rhoades. Waaia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernest Tearle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Bryan Brotherton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Victorino Aires made a huge save. After 68 played minutes Swan Valley FC got a freekick which was hit by Benney Bowen. In the 70th minute, Ernest Tearle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bryan Brotherton came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Waaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryan Brotherton couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clarke Reisz in the 74th minute of play forced Waaia's goalkeeper Earle Rhoades to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Waaia's Carsyn Markwell got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Bray Day managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swan Valley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bray Day was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Earle Rhoades breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waaia's Earle Rhoades played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Tearle in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Swan Valley FC's Ernest Tearle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Earle Rhoades made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Earle Rhoades took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clarke Reisz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bray Day struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Earle Rhoades didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swan Valley FC. Victorino Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alford Rann, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Waaia's Earle Rhoades played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Tearle in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Waaia booed when Swan Valley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benney Bowen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregory Atkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Earle Rhoades tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Waaia's zone, Benney Bowen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Earle Rhoades came out of the goal and Benney Bowen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
