Kinimakatka FC's Murdock Crane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lowrey Bundy in the 9th minute of play. Bernie Aroege scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Seistrup, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Russ Thiele made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kinimakatka FC's Nathaniel Kinsey. 20 minutes into the match, Bernie Aroege had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Seistrup. Adelaide United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernie Aroege was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Adelaide United FC's Tom Seistrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Ceney in the 23rd minute of play. Duncan Oneill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Murdock Crane made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lowrey Bundy in the 26th minute of play forced Kinimakatka FC's goalkeeper Murdock Crane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Seistrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernie Aroege, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Tom Seistrup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brooker Teuma in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brooker Teuma in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Seistrup saved Adelaide United FC from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Bernie Aroege had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Seistrup. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brooker Teuma was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Brooker Teuma took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Tom Seistrup to make any attempt to save it. Tom Seistrup came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Kinimakatka FC's Brooker Teuma. But to his dismay, Brooker Teuma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. With an all-out effort, Kinimakatka FC's Tom Seistrup threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brooker Teuma, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tom Seistrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernie Aroege in the 67th minute of play. Tom Seistrup made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernie Aroege in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Bernie Aroege recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tom Seistrup. Tom Seistrup was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Murdock Crane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duncan Oneill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Seistrup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernie Aroege in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Kinimakatka FC were awarded a corner. Bernie Aroege went to the cornerflag to take it. Tom Seistrup didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. Kinimakatka FC played a much better game than Adelaide United FC and deserved their victory. The Adelaide United FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
