Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cain Gracey started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Cain Gracey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryden Hitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lucaston's zone, Joseph Jackson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryden Hitchen came out of the goal and Joseph Jackson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryden Hitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Gracey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, one of Lucaston:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Banyena's Cain Gracey slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bryden Hitchen. That made the score 3-0 after 17 minutes of play. Bryden Hitchen was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Cain Gracey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cain Gracey really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 24 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Cain Gracey came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryden Hitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cain Gracey in the 25th minute of play. 5-0 became the score in the 27th minute when Cain Gracey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Brant Anderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carman Salcedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Christian in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Gracey in the 34th minute of play forced Lucaston's goalkeeper Bryden Hitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Cain Gracey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryden Hitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Drew Christian made a precise shot to the right of Carman Salcedo. Banyena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.
The wind increased when Drew Christian made the kick off in the second half. Bryden Hitchen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Jackson went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Drew Christian got free with Carman Salcedo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carman Salcedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Browne Boyce in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Banyena's goalkeeper Carman Salcedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Drew Christian. Carman Salcedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brant Anderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Browne Boyce received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carman Salcedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Browne Boyce slotted it home off the left post making it 6-2 in the 61st minute. Lucas Mcinnis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Cain Gracey fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Carman Salcedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tobie Lyle's late challenge caught a Banyena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobie Lyle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Banyena booed when Lucaston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobie Lyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cain Gracey in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryden Hitchen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute Brant Anderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Gracey in the 94th minute of play forced Lucaston's goalkeeper Bryden Hitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carman Salcedo made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Browne Boyce sent off a good shot on target. Banyena were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lucaston for a fine match.
