Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jake Porteus started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mongogarie's zone, Clarke Ritter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobie Feutrill came out of the goal and Clarke Ritter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Mongogarie's goalkeeper Tobie Feutrill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hank Mills. Clarke Ritter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tobie Feutrill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ren Missen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Clarke Ritter hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Tobie Feutrill made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Clarke Ritter sent off a good shot on target. Clarke Ritter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Tobie Feutrill when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Claytonboyz fc's Antonio Howie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Porteus in the 54th minute of play. When Hal Smee fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mongogarie's protests and gave Hal Smee a yellow card for diving instead. Hal Smee kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Martin Sparrow was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claytonboyz fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mongogarie the free kick. Martin Sparrow kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Mongogarie got a freekick which was hit by Ace Weatherby. Clarke Ritter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryan Potter got free with Antonio Howie in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clarke Ritter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobie Feutrill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Hank Mills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobie Feutrill having to interfere. Ren Missen charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ren Missen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Claytonboyz fc got a freekick which was hit by Ren Missen. Claytonboyz fc's Antonio Howie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Porteus in the 89th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
