Antonio Howie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Mcneven in the 23rd minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ren Missen charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 34 minutes, Everitt Grandison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mansfied's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everitt Grandison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Raymond Mcneven came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Mansfied fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond Mcneven couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Claytonboyz fc's Ren Missen got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymond Mcneven to make the kick off. Clay Sinden kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Raymond Mcneven who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Antonio Howie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ren Missen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clarke Ritter in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ren Mcquinn saved Mansfied from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Brian Gannan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Everitt Grandison came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Mansfied fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everitt Grandison couldn't finish the play. Claytonboyz fc's Antonio Howie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Claytonboyz fc from getting a goal against them. Hank Mills struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ren Mcquinn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Claytonboyz fc. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
