Skoolage United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carsyn Howarth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carsyn Howarth in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauder Turnbull saved Skoolage United from getting behind. Skoolage United's Lauder Turnbull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Mcquinn in the 40th minute of play. Remy Mcjunkin charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remy Mcjunkin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Skoolage United got a freekick which was hit by Remy Mcjunkin. Bray Millar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Clanside FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bray Millar made a kick off. Brennan Claringbold kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. If Ike Erwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauder Turnbull took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bray Millar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carsyn Howarth got free with Lauder Turnbull in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Bray Millar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lauder Turnbull. Bray Millar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Skoolage United's Lauder Turnbull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bray Millar in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Skoolage United's goal looked a bit too open when Bray Millar came free, but Lauder Turnbull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Skoolage United's goalkeeper Lauder Turnbull had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carsyn Howarth. Skoolage United's Lauder Turnbull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bray Millar in the 91st minute of play. Carsyn Howarth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauder Turnbull having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Clanside FC's Bray Millar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lauder Turnbull. Lauder Turnbull yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When the match was over Clanside FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skoolage United throughout the match.
