After a rather tough play, Mundalla's Brookes Devine got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Biggs Castray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwardo Phillips in the 8th minute of the match. Mack Heath was a little too slow when Ernest Gaffigan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Drake Hickman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Mack Heath skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mundalla's Mack Heath proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mundalla from getting a goal against them. Mack Heath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Gaffigan in the 22nd minute of play. If Edwardo Phillips had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Mundalla's Ray Markwell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Biggs Castray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Drake Hickman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mack Heath. Mundalla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Drake Hickman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Drake Hickman made a kick off. Mundalla's Mack Heath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drake Hickman in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Mundalla booed when CA Argentinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryce Fynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bran Collings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Gaffigan in the 62nd minute of play forced Mundalla's goalkeeper Mack Heath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mundalla's Mack Heath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Gaffigan in the 63rd minute of play. Mack Heath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Drake Hickman, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mundalla's zone, Ernest Gaffigan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mack Heath came out of the goal and Ernest Gaffigan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biggs Castray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everett Kuskoff in the 69th minute of play. Drake Hickman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, CA Argentinos's Biggs Castray got control of the ball when Edwardo Phillips tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Gaffigan in the 76th minute of play forced Mundalla's goalkeeper Mack Heath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Brookes Devine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When CA Argentinos's Ernest Gaffigan in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mundalla's goalie prevented a goal. Biggs Castray came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Mundalla's Edwardo Phillips. But to his dismay, Edwardo Phillips quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After a rather tough play, Mundalla's Edwardo Phillips got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CA Argentinos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mundalla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
