Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brandes Atkin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4thth minute of the game Blade Brading who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bunjil's Edwardo Franklin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edwardo Franklin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blade Brading, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Benjy Bennett fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunjil's protests and gave Benjy Bennett a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bronzewing booed when Bunjil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjy Bennett didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bunjil's Meyer Toth got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Blade Brading shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwardo Franklin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bock Babbage in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwardo Franklin saved Bunjil from getting behind. Brandes Atkin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stewart Alcock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bock Babbage in the 18th minute of play forced Bunjil's goalkeeper Edwardo Franklin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bunjil's Brandes Atkin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Bock Babbage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Michael Tucknott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Bock Babbage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bronzewing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bock Babbage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Blade Brading shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwardo Franklin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Blade Brading came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Bronzewing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blade Brading couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Bronzewing's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Michael Tucknott fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blade Brading made a kick off. Bunjil's Edwardo Franklin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bunjil from getting a goal against them. After 57 minutes of play Bunjil's Benjy Bennett was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Bunjil getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Benjy Bennett hit a great ball. 59 minutes in the game, Blade Brading fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edwardo Franklin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blade Brading in the 61st minute of play forced Bunjil's goalkeeper Edwardo Franklin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stewart Alcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandes Atkin in the 63rd minute of play. Michael Tucknott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Alcock having to interfere. Michael Tucknott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Stewart Alcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brandes Atkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Bronzewing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bock Babbage to maneuver through the defense. Edwardo Franklin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blade Brading, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Bunjil's goal looked a bit too open when Blade Brading came free, but Edwardo Franklin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bock Babbage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwardo Franklin having to interfere. Stewart Alcock came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Bunjil's Brandes Atkin. But to his dismay, Brandes Atkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
