Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Best Cameron got the match started through his kick off. Kenneth Tebbit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Kirby Loch made a huge save. In the 9th minute Best Cameron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirby Loch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Best Cameron charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Best Cameron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Balgos's Best Cameron got a free kick in the 11th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Maribyrnong FC's goal looked a bit too open when Best Cameron came free, but Kirby Loch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Edgar Keayes fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maribyrnong FC's protests and gave Edgar Keayes a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Keayes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Balgos's Kirby Loch threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Best Cameron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kirby Loch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Best Cameron, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Kirby Loch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carleton Sinden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Maribyrnong FC got a freekick which was hit by Howard Stageman. Balgos's Carleton Sinden managed to work through Maribyrnong FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Carleton Sinden dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Kirby Loch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Best Cameron, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Kenneth Tebbit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maribyrnong FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Kenneth Tebbit scored to the left of an out of position Kirby Loch, making the score, 1-0. When Balgos's Carleton Sinden in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maribyrnong FC's goalie prevented a goal. Best Cameron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Loch having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Jaffery Crapp made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, one of Maribyrnong FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Balgos. Best Cameron stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kirby Loch. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Best Cameron in the 57th minute of play forced Maribyrnong FC's goalkeeper Kirby Loch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Best Cameron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maribyrnong FC's Kirby Loch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Best Cameron put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kirby Loch. Best Cameron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirby Loch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Best Cameron, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Maribyrnong FC's goal looked a bit too open when Best Cameron came free, but Kirby Loch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Best Cameron in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kirby Loch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Tebbit in the 80th minute of play forced Maribyrnong FC's goalkeeper Kirby Loch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Berny Goodward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Larkin Connell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kirby Loch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Best Cameron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Loch having to interfere. Balgos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
