Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ray Markwell made the kick off and thus started the match. Bock Babbage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mack Heath having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Mundalla's goal looked a bit too open when Blade Brading came free, but Mack Heath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bronzewing's Blade Brading got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Carleton Tupman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bronzewing and the Mundalla players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Carleton Tupman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mundalla's Mark Osbiston couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bronzewing. When Edwardo Phillips came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Mundalla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwardo Phillips couldn't finish the play. Potter Freel charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Potter Freel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bronzewing's Potter Freel got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 41st minute, Edwardo Phillips left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mundalla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mundalla's Mack Heath proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Mundalla from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blade Brading was the one to do the kick off. Everett Kuskoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Stewart Alcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Bronzewing's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ray Markwell fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edwardo Phillips who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Stewart Alcock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Stewart Alcock managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Mundalla's Edwardo Phillips fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bock Babbage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mack Heath having to interfere. When Bronzewing's Blade Brading in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mundalla's goalie prevented a goal. After 89 minutes of play Bronzewing's Carleton Tupman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Edwardo Phillips received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Stewart Alcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Bronzewing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Potter Freel to maneuver through the defense. Mundalla's Mark Osbiston shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stewart Alcock but with some difficulty. Ray Markwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Alcock having to interfere. The Bronzewing supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mundalla's performance. The match ended with a win for Mundalla.
