Spectators: 7305 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaffery Crapp took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kirby Loch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blade Stanton's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Maribyrnong FC's Kirby Loch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blade Stanton in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute Jaffery Crapp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keefer Richard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ringo Leydin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kirby Loch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Maribyrnong FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blade Stanton came free, but Kirby Loch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaffery Crapp in the 18th minute of play forced Wallace's goalkeeper Keefer Richard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Wallace booed when Maribyrnong FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaffery Crapp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Blade Stanton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kirby Loch. Maribyrnong FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blade Stanton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Maribyrnong FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Luke Edwards hit a great ball. Blade Stanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kirby Loch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Long Smee hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Blade Stanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ringo Leydin took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kirby Loch. Kirby Loch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blade Stanton made a kick off. Ringo Leydin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blade Stanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maribyrnong FC's Kirby Loch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Maribyrnong FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Wallace getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jarrett Burton hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Berny Holdsworth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maribyrnong FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Berny Holdsworth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keefer Richard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Bray Mcgregor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match Blake Goodbun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keefer Richard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaffery Crapp in the 90th minute of play forced Wallace's goalkeeper Keefer Richard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes Wallace got a freekick which was hit by Long Smee. Keefer Richard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berny Holdsworth in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Wallace left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maribyrnong FC.
