Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Isidro Delfino made the kick off which started today's match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Edmonds Day took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cullen Batterham to make any attempt to save it. After 7 played minutes Kahibah got a freekick which was hit by Dwight Phasey. After a defensive mix-up in Kahibah's zone, Fabrizio Schulzte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kay Possov came out of the goal and Fabrizio Schulzte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnold Conlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Possov having to interfere. Isidro Delfino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Gary booed when Kahibah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Obrien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kay Possov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Tongs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carlisle Laughton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kay Possov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Conlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Kay Possov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Schulzte in the 23rd minute of play. Gary's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isidro Delfino 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Carlisle Laughton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kay Possov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Conlin in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Kahibah's Isidro Delfino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cullen Batterham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abraham Tongs charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Tongs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abraham Tongs hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Ronald Mckay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gary's zone, Isidro Delfino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cullen Batterham came out of the goal and Isidro Delfino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlisle Laughton in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kay Possov saved Kahibah from getting behind. Kay Possov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Tongs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlisle Laughton was the one to do the kick off. Arnold Conlin struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Kay Possov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gary. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrizio Schulzte got free with Kay Possov in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Isidro Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edmonds Day fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kahibah's protests and gave Edmonds Day a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gary booed when Kahibah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmonds Day didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrizio Schulzte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Possov having to interfere. Kay Possov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlisle Laughton's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Carlisle Laughton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kay Possov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Everitt Johnston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Arnold Conlin took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Kay Possov to make any attempt to save it. If Carlisle Laughton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cullen Batterham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Delfino in the 86th minute of play. Fabrizio Schulzte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kay Possov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90thth minute of the game Arnold Conlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kahibah's Kay Possov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gary's Abraham Tongs pulled a muscle in his back after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edmonds Day was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gary's Fleming Ayrton was substituted for Abraham Tongs. The Kahibah fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
