Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaffery Crapp took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maribyrnong FC's Kirby Loch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Maribyrnong FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barry Brien during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Barry Brien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keefer Richard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berny Holdsworth in the 9th minute of play. Jenkins Glover kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Matthew Arkinstall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallace's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew Arkinstall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kirby Loch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Wallace's Ringo Leydin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kirby Loch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Keefer Richard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaffery Crapp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ringo Leydin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Kirby Loch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Keefer Richard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaffery Crapp, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With an all-out effort, Wallace's Kirby Loch threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Blade Stanton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 32nd minute Blade Stanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirby Loch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ringo Leydin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Wallace got a freekick which was hit by Stew Raison. Maribyrnong FC's Kirby Loch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blade Stanton in the 44th minute of play. Kirby Loch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ringo Leydin in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blade Stanton was the one to do the kick off. Reginald Boylin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Keefer Richard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaffery Crapp's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When Wallace's Blade Stanton in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maribyrnong FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Blade Stanton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kirby Loch was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Blade Stanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kirby Loch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Ringo Leydin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Maribyrnong FC's Kirby Loch. Kirby Loch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kirby Loch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ringo Leydin's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Maribyrnong FC's Jaffery Crapp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Blade Stanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blade Stanton in the 84th minute of play forced Maribyrnong FC's goalkeeper Kirby Loch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Blade Stanton put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kirby Loch. Kirby Loch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blade Stanton in the 93rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blade Stanton in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kirby Loch saved Maribyrnong FC from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Wallace players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
