Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ray Markwell took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Ernest Gaffigan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mack Heath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwardo Phillips received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Biggs Castray came out and tried to block the shot, but Edwardo Phillips slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Drake Hickman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mundalla's Mack Heath was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mack Heath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Gaffigan in the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Drake Hickman in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mack Heath prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 19 minutes of play, CA Argentinos's Drake Hickman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mack Heath was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mack Heath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Gaffigan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mack Heath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drake Hickman in the 24th minute of the match. Drake Hickman took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mack Heath. Mack Heath dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 32nd minute, Ray Markwell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Biggs Castray. The goal made the score 2-2. After a rather tough play, CA Argentinos's Bryce Fynn got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ernest Gaffigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mack Heath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwardo Phillips could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Biggs Castray made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Bryce Fynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

CA Argentinos's Biggs Castray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwardo Phillips in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donovan Renny during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Mundalla's Mark Osbiston tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mundalla's Mack Heath proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Mundalla from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Gaffigan in the 63rd minute of play forced Mundalla's goalkeeper Mack Heath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the CA Argentinos defense, Edwardo Phillips kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Biggs Castray. The CA Argentinos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Biggs Castray should have stopped the shot. Everett Kuskoff's late challenge caught a CA Argentinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everett Kuskoff helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mundalla getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Everett Kuskoff hit a great ball. Mundalla's Mack Heath proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Mundalla from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Mundalla's goalkeeper Mack Heath had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryce Fynn. Best Foley hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Mundalla's Mack Heath proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Mundalla from getting a goal against them. Biggs Castray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everett Kuskoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Mundalla's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Drake Hickman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
