When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Best Cameron sped through Mundalla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mack Heath. After having played for 28 minutes, Larkin Connell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balgos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Larkin Connell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ray Markwell fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mundalla's protests and gave Ray Markwell a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Balgos booed when Mundalla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Markwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mundalla's Mack Heath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Best Cameron in the 40th minute of play. Larkin Connell kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Best Cameron made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Balgos were awarded a corner. Best Cameron went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Balgos's Best Cameron to fire away a dangerous shot which Mack Heath despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mack Heath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Best Cameron, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 69 minutes, Carleton Sinden made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Mundalla's Mack Heath tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73rd play minutes Best Cameron shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Mack Heath and just under the crossbar into goal. Carleton Sinden who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Mack Heath when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Mundalla getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Brookes Devine hit a great ball. In the 85th match minute, Mundalla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Best Foley to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Best Cameron in the 88th minute of play forced Mundalla's goalkeeper Mack Heath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Balgos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mundalla.
