They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ollie Norwood made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Roger Sinden got a free kick in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mount Pleasant FC's Ollie Norwood slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carsyn Orourke. That made the score 0-4 after 55 minutes of play. A collision led to Mount Pleasant FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dale Clack hit a great ball. Aaron Ramsdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauder Franklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Calvin Fynn hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Biggs Kernick's late challenge caught a Mount Pleasant FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
