Spectators: 9179 (Terracing: 6886, Seating: 2111, VIP seats: 182) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ollie Norwood took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Dallas Kuch came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mount Pleasant FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dallas Kuch couldn't finish the play. If Dallas Kuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaffery Hayward came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Mount Pleasant FC's Randell Gledden. But to his dismay, Randell Gledden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Ollie Norwood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jaffery Hayward was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Randell Gledden took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaffery Hayward. Jaffery Hayward dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Rodney Buckland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th match minute, Perth Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danton Knaack to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dallas Kuch in the 30th minute of play forced Perth Glory's goalkeeper Jaffery Hayward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Mount Pleasant FC got a freekick which was hit by Randell Gledden. When Randell Gledden came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mount Pleasant FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Randell Gledden couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Mount Pleasant FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jamie Minter came free, but Aaron Ramsdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dallas Kuch in the 40th minute of play forced Perth Glory's goalkeeper Jaffery Hayward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Perth Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dakota Muggleton to maneuver through the defense. The Mount Pleasant FC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Mount Pleasant FC's Ollie Norwood looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jamie Minter made a kick off. Perth Glory's Jaffery Hayward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randell Gledden in the 51st minute of play. Dallas Kuch succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 56th playminute. 59 minutes into the game, Ollie Norwood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Jaffery Hayward was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ollie Norwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnabas Kennewell hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jaffery Hayward made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Dallas Kuch sent off a good shot on target. Danton Knaack charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danton Knaack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaffery Hayward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ollie Norwood in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Perth Glory getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Danton Knaack hit a great ball. Jaffery Hayward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eavan Mcjunkin in the 75th minute of the match. When Mount Pleasant FC's Ollie Norwood in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perth Glory's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th minute, Mount Pleasant FC's Dallas Kuch dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8.
