Spectators: 9215 (Terracing: 6913, Seating: 2119, VIP seats: 183) Amputees FC's Abraham Laing started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes of play, Amputees FC's Abraham Laing made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murdock Reisz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Abraham Laing got a free kick in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Berke Crampton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Murdock Reisz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Al Allen made a precise shot to the right of Dean Watts. Amputees FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 25th play minute Marcus Roach came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Murdock Reisz. 5-1. After 28 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Art Kidman. Rutgers Utd's Bryden Miels got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reese Laing kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Calvin Fynn struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Murdock Reisz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amputees FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryden Miels in the 37th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Abraham Laing notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Rutgers Utd's Murdock Reisz. Murdock Reisz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dean Watts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Allen in the 45th minute of play. Abraham Laing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Murdock Reisz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bryden Miels to make the kick off. Amputees FC's Dean Watts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Allen in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauder Franklin in the 53rd minute of play forced Rutgers Utd's goalkeeper Murdock Reisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howie Withy kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Bryden Miels's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Dean Watts skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Laing in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murdock Reisz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Murdock Reisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Roach in the 67th minute of play. Abraham Laing scored 7-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Murdock Reisz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Murdock Reisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Roach in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Abraham Laing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Murdock Reisz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Rutgers Utd defense, Abraham Laing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murdock Reisz. The Rutgers Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murdock Reisz should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Biggs Kernick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amputees FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rutgers Utd the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Biggs Kernick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Abraham Laing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murdock Reisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al Allen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dean Watts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rutgers Utd's Murdock Reisz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Roach in the 88th minute of play. Berke Crampton took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murdock Reisz. Murdock Reisz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-1. Abraham Laing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amputees FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
