Aaron Ramsdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perth Glory. Barnabas Clinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randell Gledden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamie Minter's late challenge caught a Mount Pleasant FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jamie Minter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Ollie Norwood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mount Pleasant FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Dallas Kuch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Barnabas Clinton made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Dallas Kuch took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Barnabas Clinton to make any attempt to save it. In the 42nd match minute, Mount Pleasant FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cain Barker to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Perth Glory booed when Mount Pleasant FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Johnston didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jamie Minter made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Ollie Norwood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Barnabas Clinton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 6-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Ollie Norwood elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Adolfo Willding in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mount Pleasant FC's Randell Gledden. 63 minutes into the match, Perth Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Dallas Kuch came free, but Barnabas Clinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perth Glory's Aaron Orvad got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dallas Kuch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barnabas Clinton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Ollie Norwood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Barnabas Clinton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Dallas Kuch made a precise shot to the right of Barnabas Clinton. Perth Glory's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 81stth minute of the game Dallas Kuch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perth Glory's Barnabas Clinton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ollie Norwood scored 9-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barnabas Clinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dallas Kuch in the 86th minute of play forced Perth Glory's goalkeeper Barnabas Clinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Dallas Kuch made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Perth Glory's Barnabas Clinton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodney Buckland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mount Pleasant FC had played much better football throughout.
