Ignacio Manuel started the match with the kick off. Pete Wirth hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Manuel in the 8th minute of play forced Ayla FC's goalkeeper Nilson Fraser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Ivan Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mcvey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Mcvey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Porteus, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 29 played minutes Ayla FC got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Pegrum. In the 30th minute of the match Ignacio Manuel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Fraser skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Ayla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Wayland to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Canobolas getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Barnabas Hanslow hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvério Pinhal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Silvério Pinhal made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Mcvey. Canobolas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 53rd match minute, Canobolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnabas Hanslow to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Mcvey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rob Porteus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Rob Porteus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Adolfo Mcvey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clay Dollamore lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ayla FC! Nilson Fraser had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Ignacio Manuel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 68th minute, Ignacio Manuel made a precise shot to the right of Nilson Fraser. Ayla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 77th minute Silvério Pinhal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mcvey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson Fraser came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Canobolas's Rob Burton. But to his dismay, Rob Burton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, Ayla FC's Nilson Fraser got control of the ball when Ignacio Manuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvério Pinhal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
