Adriano Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Adolfo Mcvey made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stepan Krymov in the 11th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Obscurials's Nelson Wright got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in The Obscurials's zone, Stepan Krymov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Safet Hands came out of the goal and Stepan Krymov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Neich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Neich in the 21st minute of the match. When Adriano Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the The Obscurials fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Adriano Ribeiro sped through Canobolas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adolfo Mcvey. Adriano Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Mcvey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of The Obscurials booed when Canobolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnabas Hanslow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canobolas's Adolfo Mcvey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Ribeiro in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Adam Neich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Safet Hands was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnabas Hanslow in the 43rd minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Manuel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anders Westerstrand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Mcvey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute of the match Cliff Rowden sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Mcvey skillfully saved the ball. Nelson Wright scored 4-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Mcvey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Canobolas's Safet Hands threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Manuel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Canobolas booed when The Obscurials was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. That made the score 4-2 in the 82 minute of play. The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Canobolas's Fulgencio Quintana got a free kick in the 87th minute. When The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canobolas's goalie prevented a goal.
