Seating: 2121, VIP seats: 183) The crowd rose to their feet as Quagitup's Fabrício Vinhas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlton Convine. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Rafael van der Vaart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Glasston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mete Golob to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rafael van der Vaart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glasston's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael van der Vaart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júnior Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mete Golob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael van der Vaart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Júnior Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Thomas Grandison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glasston and the Quagitup players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thomas Grandison hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Carlton Convine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Vinhas in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Rafael van der Vaart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júnior Souto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Júnior Souto came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Glasston's Mete Golob. But to his dismay, Mete Golob quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 42ndth minute of the game Thomas Grandison who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quagitup's Júnior Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Glasston were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Bengt-Rune Rolfsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Júnior Souto came out and tried to block the shot, but Bengt-Rune Rolfsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 58th minute. Rafael van der Vaart was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Thomas Grandison got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rafael van der Vaart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlton Convine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Cochrane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Quagitup's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael van der Vaart came free, but Júnior Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Grandison might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júnior Souto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Grandison ran back to his position shaking his head. Júnior Souto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. 76 minutes into the match, Rafael van der Vaart dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júnior Souto, 1-5. Glasston's Thomas Grandison got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th play minute Mete Golob came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Júnior Souto. 1-6. 92 minutes into the game, Glasston's Mete Golob nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júnior Souto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Júnior Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Golob in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Glasston left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quagitup.
