In the 73rd match minute, Kangaroos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Clubley to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Kangaroos's goalkeeper Carlos Vickery had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jajat Handoyo. After 92 played minutes Blaxland FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Palzewicz. Nikitas Karelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodd Didlick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blaxland FC played a much better game than Kangaroos and deserved their victory. The Kangaroos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
